3. Attend a car show as a group.
4. Meet for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
5. Julian run.
6. Barona Dragway.

I'm up for a run to Julian again, I had a great time the last time we did that. I would be up for the drags at Barona. I suggestion from the Co-pilot is the flower fields in Carlsbad, or a cruise to Hotel Del for some photos?
But as you know I'm up for anything if I'm able to go.

My air/fuel is safe for conservitive driving. I just can't get into boost.

This Thread makes me home sick ran a charter boat out of Pt Loma from 69 to 84 and was a summer time deckhand on several boats at all three landings as a teen before I got my Coast Guard license and my own boat. Also was part of a boat building Company in Santee for some years 76 to 81. Got out of the boat thing in 88 altogether and only go to SD area to fun fish when I can with old friends. Neat area lots to do and cruisen would be a blast form the past but a little to far now like about 2500 miles one way.
Now I cruise all I can with the gas funds that are aloted going to have to get an electric the way things are going soon <NOT>.

Hey gents just got an email to check out CAs chapter. I havent been a real advocate on exploiting the website but I'll be sure to keep a better pulse on things here.
Bit of background.
I live in Oceanside, have an 84 El Co I'm currently working on.I've owned it for almost 15 years. It was my first car and it has a lot of sentimental value since my father and i rebuilt the tranny and engine together. Either way. I've decided to add a few more horses to it and slap on an Edelbrock intake, compcams camshaft, edelbrock headers and a few other things. Since I'm doing my own media blasting and powder coating (in the works) it'll be a while before I get it back on the road.

If theres a place everyone meets up etc, I'd like to join and check out what other people have done to their rides.

Hey I am back after a long while (transferred job locations). I would love to get a cruise going so once we know an official date ill be there

Weather permitting, the date for our Point Loma - Coronado tour is Saturday, March 26.

The basic plan is to meet in Mission Valley for lunch at 11:30, then out to Point Loma and across the bridge to Coronado.

Hey so some good news and some bad news. I was so lucky enough to have my manager give me march 26th off. But last weekend my elco was struck on the hood and windshield by a flying motorcycle stand:let_it_all_out:. So shes in the shop right now getting fixed they said it should be done before march 26th so fingers crossed.

The date is the 26th of March. But don't worry if your Elcos are not ready there will be other runs.

In my experience, So. CA weather forecasts aren't very accurate when rain is involved, especially the 5 and 10 day predictions.
