I don't believe the "SS" models and badging came out until a few years later (1963?).

The 60 had the "348" which had some engine and performance mods like six-pack carbs as well as different grille emblems and wheel covers.

2750 is a good price for a running, driving 60, especially if it is not too rusted out.

As for the electric seat, I do not know if they were available in the Elky since it was more of a pickup, but I'm not really sure. I believe a 60 Impala would have been available with an electric seat and someone may have swapped out in the past 44 years.

Bed parts (inside) are the same for a 59 and 60 as far as I know.

Try also the following for the floor pans:

For the floor pans and bed metal try all the usual suppliers:

JC Whitney, National Parts Depot, El Camino Parts, Original Parts Group, etc. Order their catalouges, cruising them will help with other needs.

Your purchase price is a steal, congrats.

I'm not sure what you mean by "the top part is cracked across" - which part? Are you talking about a bed cover or part of the sheet metal inside the bed itself?

the sheet metal bed, right behind the back window.. that's where it rusted all across real bad..
