I haven't had enough posts to reply to your PM so will answer here. Wasn't too hard a swap. The biggest pain was sorting out the Painless wiring harness we used. I remounted the ac to the drivers side on top. A couple of idler pulleys to reroute the belt and it work fine. I just used an extra junk yard stock mount and turned it over, cut and ground off what I didn't need. Much better than cutting the frame as others have done. The cross member worked with the 4L60e transmission ok, just had to shorten the drive shaft a bit. There is a couple of ways to solve the speedo problem. I used a converter box from Cable X.

I also went with the LT1 swap instead of TPI, because I got a great deal on a whole package -- engine, trans, computer and wire harness, plus all accessories.
REelocated the AC compressor to the top drivers side like original. Used a tailshaft that has both speed sensor for the computer and cable drive for the original speedometer. Fuel pump is an in-tank TPI Camaro pump mated to the tank unit for a fuel injected Monte Carlo. Friend who works at a hydraulic supply company fixed me up with a couple adapters for the power steering hoses into the pump.

You'll see several threads with different ways of doing the conversion.
