I was wondering what some effective was to add soem HP at a fairly cheap expense. I have a '72 with a 350, i haven't done much except new exhaust (flowmaster american thunder 70 series) and new K&N Air Filter. I was looking at Hooker headers and a new carb. If some oen coudl enlighten me on some ideas I'd greatly appreciate it.

how cheap and how deep do you want to get into the motor?

you can get a cam for fairly cheap but have to go deep in the motor.
a new intake manifold can help, fairly cheap and don't have to go deep in the motor.
a good ignition system will also so the trick but can be costly.
roller rockers (i've heard differnt things about this so i don't know)

i'll let you know if i think of anything else.

a 650 cfm carb is big enough for a small block. it's perfect for the street.
