Any body ever used or head of this?

Rust Bullet (http://www.itkillsrust.com/)

On a side not, its amazing how their product beats all the other in every test. 8O Wait a minute....doesnt POR-15 do the same thing on their website?

In reality, no they don't. They make a lot of claims and state alot of things but don't have anything to prove what they say is in fact truth. We figured what we say should be able to be backed up at least. So we posted the test results of NSTI on our website for anyone to see. The good and the bad.

Another little titbit, POR-15 issued us a cease and desist to REMOVE their test results from our website. We told then in no uncertain words to "get bent"

I'll be happy to answer any questions if needed or requested. I don't plan to be a sales dweeb so please don't expect that of me.. I read lots of Auto forums and answer lots of questions if i can..

Thanks

Its been a long time since i visited their website for "info", i just went recently to look at prices. When i did go last time they had some claim to beat any other products..i believe. I was just being sarcastic about how people advertise things that arent false, but are so vague that consumers think they are making a claim to be "The very best". Maybe that dont make sense.

I just ordered some Rust bullet today. Wish you would have posted earlier and i may have asked you a few questions, but oh well, its on its way. I ordered 4qt's to cover my frame and firewall. Not sure if ill have enough left over to do the underbody. If i got to much i have plenty of things around the house that could use some and if i didnt get enough ill just order some more :)

Is application of Rust Bullet fairly easy? Anything i should watch out for while im using it?

Yes the use to have that offer.. We offer the same challange. they even agreed to do a one on one side by side test back last year. 6 months later they sent us the letter from their lawyer.. Nice test they have planned I guess..

One thing I hate is marketing hype.. I refuse to put such crap on our website unless I can prove it.. And we can.

1- 1 1/2 quarts = frame.
1/2 quart = firewall

You'll have plenty.. We can do a whole 67 Camaro subframe and body with a gallon and have some left..

Just make sure the dirt and oil is off the surface.. Remove any loose flakes.. Make sure it's clean and dry.

Lay the first coat, wait 1-3 hours, apply 2nd coat.. let cure for 72 hours.. Top coat if you wish after that. and wear GLOVES !

Hello Rust Bullet,
I saw on your website
"The method of protection Rust Bullet uses, dries out the rust by chemical activity"

For those of us who had some high school or college chemistry, what is the equation for this activity? For Example, XXX + FeO2 = ....

I want to know what the rust turns into.

Also, how does your product differ from something like Plasti-kote?
