Sorry but the other post NO one was telling me what brand, etc and who did you get your Aluminium Radiator from plus fan. Hope I get some better answers. Sorry for the confused questions I guess. Michael

Be Cool and Griffen are 2 companies that produce aluminum rads .

Be Cool is good (have used one), Alumatech is great and I have used several it will be the most stock looking to a factory one and has great workmanship as to the cooling these to wood be equal. Neither are cheap but they are real good you can get others theat will be a good amopunt less in cost. Both the discribed one will come and will go in as the are sold to and not with a bag of universal brackets that you get to remake to fit. I am sure there are others that also work as well and hopefully you will get there names and than you can get totally confused.

can't remember but mine came from a circle track company but basically one of the cheap aluminum rads from summit but i made all my own mounts at the time. it did work in stock fan shroud but had to use a spacer between top and bottom shroud to fit if i recall. this was on a 5th gen

I have a Griffan... seems pretty good, but that said, I haven't actually ran it yet. I think that if I had it to do over again, I'ld get a Flex-a-lite... just because their fans are built to fit their rads, and that's the fan I went with.

Check out U.S. Radiator. Made here, no epoxy, two one inch tubes. They can provide information regarding electric fans. I'm using a Flex-a -lite Black Magic Extreme fan with air conditioning in So Cal, no problem.

I have a 79 SS and just installed the AlumaTech with twin Spal electric fans,
With a little effort you can mount the Spal dual fans inside the standard fan shoud.

Neither of the units are cheap but you are only going to do it once and cutting cost in the cooling area is probably not the best place to look for cost savings.

Quality of both units is outstanding.

I bought a Champion radiator off of Ebay, and it's really well made, all TIG welded together, with machined billet hose connections, filler cap tube etc. The cap that came with it seems kinda tinny though, but I' not going to use that. There's a few pics of in on my photobucket link below......
