I recently had a master cylinder replaced at the dealer, they told me that the 82 was not replacable buy any other year.is this true? I thought most years were inachangable.

They are 2 different part numbers.

82 - 18013421

83~87 - 18013429

Anybody know the differences?

Whats the differance?

One ends with a 9, the other ends with a 1. Probably just the style of the casting.
