Hey RushGator , how many people have decided to stay the nite at the La Quinta ? Because I spoke with my daughter in Plano today and she , hubby and granson Bub are spending the nite and to PARTY because her Birthday is on May 12th so we will be celebrating all together that weekend ..... and who ever wants to join in .... you had said only 5 people had said anything about staying over a while back has that changed and will the rate still be under $79.00 per nite ? .. so with them 5 + 21/2 = 71/2 people ... And my baby sister and hubby MIGHT stay over too , MAYBE ..... so maybe you might wanna bring it up again WHO is staying over ... Thanks the Geezer:nanawrench:

At last count, there were only 6 rooms requested. The rate is still the same that I told you, but I'm going to call and see if a better group rate is available. However, if the city of Belton is going help us out (I'm sure they would love for us to stay and spend $ in their city) by referring us to something right there in town--maybe a local hotel is willing to give discounts--then I'm for it. I'll check with Ken before I make any reservations.

We will be staying Fri Night and Sat so if anyone needs help setting up Ect Let Me know We are staying in Temple at my sisters ,,:texas:

Hey Rushgator , well I spoke with my baby sister tonight she lives in Lewisville and she said that if her hubby is up to the trip then both of them will stay over , he just got out of the hospital for a blood clot they took out of his leg ... Well, there's a thought. I'm not sure what campgrounds are in the area, but mid-May will still be nice camping and beer drinking weather. No camping facilities in the park that I know of...not that you'd want to as it's right by the interstate. :beer:
