Found this under the drivers seat of my '85. To be honest though, I am not sure if the seats are original to the car or not. Is this a buildsheet? Can anyone guess as to if is for an El Camino or not? Thanks.

No, It does not look like it. I think it's the seat info.

No, It does not look like it. I think it's the seat info.
But it says:
SHIP WT F 1195 R 1303
Which I would take to be as the weight of the front and rear of the car. Then again, I am just speculating, I've never seen a build sheet before so don't even know what kind of info is on it.
Any other ideas?

That is part of the factory traveler or build sheet for your truck. There should be one on the glove box but its not going to look like that one.

I found one in my 80 under the passenger seat shoved in one of the holes next to the foam. The part that wasn't tucked in was destroyed but I was able to save almost 3/4s of it carefully pulling it out. This is a pretty common question on the site and they seem to be found in many places, from under the carpets to in the seat back cushions etc etc. Probably wherever the last guy on the assembly line felt like stikin' it.
