Spring is here region 8 members! Why don't we get together?

There is a well-established swap meet, cars-for-sale-corral and car show in Springfield Ohio this month, May 28, 29 & 30.

We don't we meet on Saturday May 29th - say at noon?

There are roughly 50 region 8 members signed onto the site. How many of you folks are interested in getting together?

We will contact the organizers to determine a location/landmark where we can meet, greet and tour the show together.

NATIONAL EL CAMINO OWNERS ASSOCIATION



OHIO & WEST VIRGINIA MEMBERS - MEET, GREET, TOUR SWAP MEET & SHOW.



OK Fellow members, we've got the details worked out to meet, greet and tour the show and swap meet in Springfield, Ohio this coming weekend.



WHEN: Saturday, May 29th at 11:00 am.



WHERE: McDonalds restaurant (?) roughly in the center of town. The address is 2328 East Main Street, Springfield, OH 45503. We suggest you use your favorite on-line map service to get directions from your location to the meet place.



If we meet at Mickey-Dee's at 11:00, we can chat, grab a burger (or low-cal salad), leave at noon, and have an El Camino cruise to the fair grounds. We've checked Map & Directions and it's about a 28-minute cruise. If you want a second set of directions from the meet place to the show, the address of the fair grounds is 4401 South Charleston Pike, Springfield, OH 45502.



General admission is $6.00, children 12 and under are free, the show closes at 6:00 pm. This is a large show, swap meet and car-corral. A good place to look for parts.



We would appreciate you letting us know if you can make it. If you know any Kentucky or Indiana people, invite them along.

Good luck on your meet and greet tomorrow in region 8. Hope a couple dozen Elky owners from Ohio, West Virginia, and even western PA will be able to join up with Mike and Shawn for a good time this Saturday. Post some photos if you can.
