Ther are many that will swap but involve some work. For a list and info go to www.globalwest.net or www.hotchkis.net Either site has a list of the spindles that will work. I have spindles from a 1988 caprice classic on mine. They lower the front about an inch (2.54 cm). You can also do a google search for "tall spindle conversion" Lots of good info there too. And finally try here: http://links.chevelles.net/links/WorkShop/Brakes_Suspension/

What do you want to accomplish?

thanks for your mail
I would like mij car to drop a little more than one inch but my buget will have me look in to all posible swaps because schiping a dropspindle set from the U.S. will cost me a 1000,00 dollars for the spindles alone so i am looking at latemodel cars at our junkyards for a good spindle set

Thanks for your help

I found a good list here: http://www.angelfire.com/tx/lonestarclassics/tallspindle.htm You will need to change the tie rod ends and have the ball joint turned down. Both Global West & Hotchkiss sell tubular upper control arms for the tall spindle swap. You DO NOT necessarily need to use tubular uppers. You can use a stock upper with special offset upper control arm shafts from MOOG.

And I just came acrossed this site again: http://free.hostdepartment.com/d/dreinecke/Chevelle/Html/Brakes.html Its got a real good explaination of tyhe Tall Spindle swap without the expensive aftermarket control arms.

\Also you could use the rotors that come with the tall spindles, but the wheel bolt pattern will be larger. You would need two spare wheels, one for the front ( 5" pattern) and 1 for the rear (stock 4 3/4" pattern.
