No, I'm not talking about a swim suit. I got no speedometer. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot a cruise control module. I can spin the speedometer cable from the cruise control module and get needle movement. The other cable turns with the transmission. Does that narrow it down to the inerds of the cruise control module? Could it be an electrical thing?

Take the speedometer cable loose at the tranny then pull the cable out of the housing to see if it is damaged.If the cable is good remove the speedometer gear from the tranny(the gear is behind where the cable attaches to the tranny one bolt is holding it in)check the gear in the adapter also use light and look at the gear on the output shaft for damage.If you remove both speedometer cables from the cruise control transducer you should be able to see the output side turn when you turn the input side of the transducer.
