Hell all,
I haven't been around the board for a while but a "new" issue has arisen where I live in Colorado. I am in Weld county, and they have just started requiring emission tests. When I was building my Elky there was no tests to worry about, so I "lost" the smog pump and put dual exhaust on it. It does't currently have cats but it will in the next month.

I was wondering if anyone here was familiar with this situation in Colorado. Any relevant facts or advice is appreciated

Thanks

You might be able to get historic vehicle plates and not have to do testing, normally the car or truck has to be at least 25 yrs old.

Not anymore. Tried to get collector plates for mine but now it has to be a 1975 or earlier. Looking to do the same to mine. I think if you have the same emission equipment as the donor car it will pass. Not sure if they do a visual inspection or not, might just do the test and not even look under the hood.
