My door panels are rusted out at the bottoms. I'd like to find out any information on where to obtain replacement doors and/or replacement panels to weld onto the rest of the door so that there will be a complete door. Any help is appreciated. Will El Camino doors fit? Are there any other compatible doors made by Chevy or GMC? Thank you.

Hey Massauto,

El Camino doors are identical to Caballero doors. 78 - 87 doors will fit with the exception of the side view mirror holes. If you are skilled at welding up holes, then you should be fine. If not, find doors with the same type mirrors that you currently have - or if you are picking up a pair, it will not matter sine they will match each other anyway . . . .

Are you going to need a new set of door decals for the Diablo? If you do either contact me or GMC Diablo. GMC Diablo was going to have a complete set made including the hood graphic. If he hears that someone else may need a set he might speed up the production a little bit.

I'll probably need a set of decals, although it's really a future purchase rather than an immediate need. If I move along faster than I thought, then I'll let you know. I'm really learning as I go. I found out that the problem that I was having with my carbuerator backfiring was because the choke wasn't working properly. I just found out why today. It's a manual choke! Answers are easy once you know them.

Willthe Monte Carlo doors fit on the el camino.

1978-81 Malibu, Lemans, and Grand Am doors are the same also, But the door glass must be changed. Doug
