okay so i recently bought some 67 bucket seats for my 69 el camino, i figure i could just drill holes in the floor to fit it, or should i buy the brackets for them like this http://www.ss396.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=elcamino&Product_Code=ICC-001

Use the brackets. If you just drill a hole and you don't use some kind of reinforcement then the hole will eventually get bigger. It will get big enough that the nut on the other side can fit through it.

You will need to use the 4 piece brackets----
If you do not use the bracket set, the seats will lean to the center and also be a bit crooked.

You will use the outer rear hole of the seat bracket to the inner rear hole of the car, and that is the only hole that remains the same. The outer front hole of the seats is about 1/2" inside the existing hole in the floor.

Go thru this thread-----this is my car, and if you would like, I can e-mail the pics to you along with some notes and dimensions.
