Hey Guys,

This is that new show I mentioned in a previous thread. It's at the Seekonk Speedway in Seekonk Ma. (on Rte. 6). It's a first time show so there's no history to speak of, but either way, it's a day out in the (hopefully) sun, and quality time with friends.

I guess after the awards they're planning on a burnout contest and 1/8th mile drags etc. I think I'll pass on the burnout contest considering that's how I blew up my tranny last fall. In fact, I just got it built last week, good to go now. Now.... if I could just get the thing detailed.

Can't go, work. Are you sure it's 1/8 mile drags? I've heard of spectator drags (one lap standing start oval race) as well as 100 ft drags there

Doubt I can make it guys, one long trip a month is usually it for me lol

Yeah, I'm still up for it bud. The Elk isn't detailed yet, but it's going anyway.

This is a damn early show though, the gates open at 8:00 and judging starts at 9:30. Never heard of judging starting that early, but I'll be there.

I am not planning to try to get there early. I don't really care about being judged - I'm looking at it as a day out with Bandido.

Tommy, wish you could have made it bud. A bit windy, but it turned out to be a really well run show, especially considering it was a first time show. About 250 cars... Not bad for this early.
