Well after being gone for awhile with the Army and being in college I am getting back to restoring my Elky. I am getting the frame sandblasted and powdercoated in a couple of weeks. I am about to order the brakes, fuel lines, etc. I found this on OPGI: http://www.opgi.com/p/brakes/13336/6/CH27019.html#thumb
After a rough estimate of getting new brake lines, rear drum brakes, front disc, booster, and the whole works it is around $1,500. I was wondering if anyone has purchased this kit and if it is a deal rather than keeping drum on the rear and disc in the front.

Thanks

That's the same kit I used for my 71, several years ago. It is a kit from CPP http://www.classicperform.com/Store/1964_1972_Chevelle_Elcamino/6466FRBKS.htm install wasn't bad and works very well.

you can never go wrong with disc over drums, even if it isnt on the front and back. just having the front will serve the purpose of stopping good, but my opinion if your going to do the front might as well do the rear to. seems like a good deal. go for it
