I have an '84 Caballero and I have a problem with my windshield washers. Everytime i use them the fluid barely hits my window, I have tried to adjust them, but they seem like they are in a fixed position. Do any of you have any ideas? Thanks

Clean the nozzles and the screen in the washer bottle, and make sure your hoses are clear.

I don't know how you tried to "adjust" them but if you mean by the screw that holds the squirter nozzles down then thats not gonna get you anything.
If you mean the stream of water just barely hits the windshiels at the bottom then simply and gently bend the nozzle up a little so the squirt of water hits more in the middle of the windshield.
The squirters bend easily and thats the only way I've ever adjusted them.

Also check for bacteria growing in the washer bottle and hoses, this causes alot of low pressure problems. Easy to fix, just pour some household bleach in the washer bottle, let it sit for a short time then run the washers to blow it thru the system. refill the resevoir with fresh washer fluid. DO NOT EVER use water, that's what causes the bacteria to grow. :)

I just realized the adjustment procedure for the nozzles I described in this post was for second generation Elkys, not an 84 model. Sorry for the mis information!!
