The in tank fuel pump has a {fuel pump pulsator}.What does this part do ? Is this part replaced when changing fuel pump ? Or is it replaced with a short piece of hose ? Thanks ....

Got me. I have a lt1 engine in a Econoline pickup. Standard gas tank and a external fuel pump. It runs good.

Great, so now I know what a pulsator is. I thought that was just the coupler to connect the pump to the fuel line. So next time the tank comes out, I'll replace it with a piece of hose. :-)
