Anyone have the heating system schematic for 81 El Camino I would appreciate it.

Hi...I'm a new member as of today.

I saw your post re: the heating diagram for the 1981 El Camino. Is it possible you couls email a copy of that to me as well? And I'd really be appreciative if you happen to have a vacuum schematic for the heat / a/c as well. I've tried everywhere and can't seem to locate one. I can't get my control unit to switch from heat/defrost to vent or heat only.

Welcome sutton8565. When they won't switch it is usually the small diaphragm on the back left corner of the control unit that has two lines going to it - if you are sure you have vacuum going to the control unit..
