I have about 3 light coats of paint down so far. I gave myself a run already but shoot, whoever sees it once it is back in is a better man than I. I would also question why he is paying so close attention to my baby.

Got the last coat of paint on and will snap a few more shots after it sits for a few days.

Just got it back in all by myself on the first try. Nothing like success to make me feel AMAZING.

So I didn't paint my intake manifold in the process. Any suggestions on the color? My neighbor said silver. I will take more photos when I get a chance.

My passenger side exhaust manifold is being a pain. I have one bolt in at the front but can't seem to get any of the other bolts to thread. I hope it is just a matter of man power and that having another set of hands here tomorrow will allow me to get them back in. Other then that all I have to say is man that starter motor is one heavy piece to hold in place while you try to thread a bolt.

Thanks for the support guys.

One of the hard things about a manifold is holding it not only at the proper height, but at the correct angle, so that the bolt hits the head threads just so.

Wow, why can I not find a good point to use to pry the PS pump belt tight... Suggestions? Hints?

buffed the chrome up just to get a nice final shot, just for you all who are paying attention.

Still looking for a good color to put on the intake manifold. Someone was saying to match it to the exterior paint I was going with the original 'island teal' another wanted me to paint it aluminum.
