I have a TBI fullsize pickup.

On it, the fuel line is a steel hardline that enters the throttle body from the back and goes toward the rear of the vehicle, following the bellhousing of the trans down to the framerail on the LH side.

From there it goes toward the rear of the vehicle, through an inline filter strapped to the frame and then to the tank which has an in-tank pump which pumps the fuel out the top.

Keep in mind also that there is a regulator built in to the TBI unit and it also has a return line to the tank to bleed off excess fuel pressure.

As for the fullsize trunk I know how that routed Thanks. But I saw a monte in the wreaking yard inwhich the lines ran down the passanger side but went straight up by the A/C box and was wondering if the elkie is the same. Im going to transplanting a TBI 350 from a full size trunk into my 80 elkie and want to buy the lines new but want to be sure that they will work

I've got a 85 4.3L TBI elco. If you need any pics on how they're routed just say so.

Sorry about the wait.

The lines are bolted on the frame come up in the front and turns into rubber and then turns back into hard line and goes in front of the head.
