this is something i was wondering too, but since the GM ones are so freakin expensive 8O i'll probably just go with the repops and save some cash. I 'll only be driving my camino whenever it gets done in decent weather.

Well i my opinion YES the GM weatherstrips are better. I have one GM and one aftermarket. There is a definate difference the SOFFSEAL one i had hell getting it to fit right. The GM no problems.

Does anyone know of a GM dealer that would or might have the oem upper weatherstrips for a 87 window glass ? I can get a right side local but not the left . Thanks

Are those Metro 4th gen kits any good? At least they had something. At first I was like great another place that treats us 4th gens as step children.

I think Metro is the authorized repoper for GM. It seems to me that I replaced some for a customer once and they were Metro and they fit very well.

I posted this somewhere else but. The Window Felts for a 4th gen, that I have actually found and seen are actually GM parts. They say GM all over the package and they cost like $130.00 a set. That is one outside and one inside felt.
The Softseal Door Gaskets and window seals I got fit fine but seem to be a little smaller and harder to get the seals to seal the doors. I never quite got all mine sealed completely. I don't know if GM still sells those or not but if I did mine again I would try the GM parts. They can't be any worse only the same or better.
Just in case you remove the drip rail moldings you have to go back with seam sealer between the molding and the cab frame to make that seal otherwise it will leak evey time it rains.
