Yesterday I went with a friend to pick up a new car of his in Langlois, OR. It is about 5 hours South of me in Longview, WA. When we get about 1 hour from where we need to be, my friend says, "Oh yeah, there is a Monza with some decal's on the side of the car for sale on the side of the road up here." We drive by the car and I notice it says "MONZA 2+2" on the doors. After picking up my friends new car we're heading back and I tell him to stop so I can take a look at this Monza. He does, and I see that it's got $850 written on the window scratched out, and below that is $600. I crawl under the car and look for rust, and find no problems. I opened the hood and find a 3.8L Buick V6. I look at the interior and see that it's got a manual transmission. The shifter was missing the shift knob so I had no idea as to if it was a 4 or 5 speed (I now know it's a 4 speed). The exterior is white and in great shape with very minimal rust. The interior is red and pretty well faded. I'm seriously thinking of going back down and testdriving this car to see if it's in as good of shape as I saw. I saw no oil leaks or anything. The odometer shows 48,XXX miles. Which seems to be accurate to me, the engine bay is far too clean for a 100,000+ mile car. The only complaint I have of the whole thing is that it has air conditioning. :( To me it's well worth $600, and I'm sure they would take $500 just to see it leave. Here's the few pictures that I took.

Yes, that is the muffler for the car laying on the ground underneath the bumper. LOL

I always have liked the two-headlight front ends a little better than the four-light models. Well, let's hear some of your opinions on this.

Wow... got some offers going. Let me think about those. Uh, no. :P
I'm now thinking that I'll just keep it and drive it on the weekends only. But if I do sell it, it will be no less than $3,000.
