Was thinking of putting this into my 72 Elky, any suggestions and also idea of the horsepower?

E-Mail them for the spec's on that motor. Can't tell anything from a photo. All they say is that it's a remanufactured 4-bolt motor. They list a contact on the site.

This is a truck engine. Low rpm potential because of small valves, small intake runners and very mild cam. Probably rated about 300 hp. You probably want an engine with a little more grunt.

That engine will have "reanut port" heads, not good for hot rodding but great for towing. Also, it will have the truck oil pan which will not work in an elky.
