Hi all! Need to bleed on both my 80 El Camino with new rubber lines, calipers and wheel cylinders. Also am doing an 76 sting ray With complete new brake system from booster bleeder valves. I know the different ways to bleed each vehicle, and know the benefits of both the motive power system and the pheonix system but was wondering if anyone that has used either or would like to share there experance with us. Thank and happy trails!

I preffer a reverse bleeder or to do a two man bleed (or a one man bleed if you have those fancy ball valves in your bleeder screws).
I made my own reverse bleeder using a jar, a pressurized air male, and to top it off I got a master cylinder lid with a hose attachment for any overflow. We use a giant version made by BG in the shop I work at.

I have the Motive Products bleeder. Works pretty good. My only complaint is the cap for the MC doesn't always seal reliably and fluid gets everywhere. The screw on style on the late model cars seals up perfectly every time.
The good thing about having the bleeder is that you don't spend hours on it. Makes doing the regular flushes fast and easy enough to actually want to do it.
Thanks for the help! Am currently in negotiations with the sting ray owner on selection and splitting up the cost. Will report back when job is finished.
