I guess lI'm from the old school since I just took my A/C out last fall. I did not like all the hoses, etc that clutter up the engine bay. Kept looking at car ather car at Car Shows and there clean engine bays and so far I haave not missed it. Now of course this is not my daily driver and I'm not in the bumper to bumper commute traffic any more. Does my daily driver have A/C YES but I rarely use it. Not much traffic here in South Boston, VA Anyway that's my 2 cent Michael in Virginia:driving::smileyb:

I just priced an accumulator/drier at Advance auto and they want $51. Prices have gone up! :dontknow: However, found one at Rock Auto for about $24 shipped. You'll definitely need a new drier and orifice tube, at the very least. http://www.turbobuicks.com/forums/images/smilies/yup.gif

It would have been very nice to have on the power tour but oh well lol. I just went ahead and replaced all the a/c because when i got the car someone had taken off most of the parts. And this car isn't my daily either but its nice to have a/c, i can deal with the a/c stuff. I about died going to Valdosta Georgia on the power tour a couple weeks ago without a/c.
