Long-time Regional Director Curtis D. Coyle of Oklahoma, and president of the very active "Pedal Down Club" in Edmond, has retired from NECOA leadership last week, but gave us a very nice gift:

Curt has nominated Evan Splawn to serve as Deputy Director for Oklahoma and that appointment became effective as of July 1, 2011. Evan is an automotive Service Manager in Edmond and drives a beautiful 1959 Elky. He joined NECOA in September 2010 and has 22 posts to date. We hope to find additionally well-qualified candidates for Deputy Directors in Kansas and Missouri to work with Evan in organizing all those El Camino owners in those 3 states who have not yet found NECOA and our website.
