Just a reminder.... On Sunday, JULY 31 we are planning to meet other El Camino owners at the Chevy Show which is held at Colussy Chevolet in Bridgeville.
If you can attend please let me know.... Once we know how many cars/owners plan to attend this show ECC member "Billy Jack" will arrange for a space so we can all park together.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

Hi Jeff.... Hope "all" is going OK with you & all your "hot rod" work. Did you ever start on that "Falcon gasser????
I have been to the "Colussy show" plenty of times. Not all cars thar attend are show cars. Compared to mine EL C yours is a "show car"..... plus it's "drag race" history makes it a "VERY" interesting car to look at!!!!!:nanawrench:
Right now my EL C project is in the middle of getting a "rat rod-look" patina.... it's amazing what a grinding wheel - palm sander - some glazing putty & rock salt & water will do to give a car that "dated-rusty-look".
this show has been going on for years. Plenty of cool cars from stock original models, Yenko Super Cars, muscle cars, hot rods and plenty of Corvettes. Lots of good food and plenty of parking.
Looking forward to seeing you, Billy Jack (and his awesome G-Body El Camino) again & meeting other El Camino owners that can make it to the show.
Billy Jack works at Colussy Chevrolet so he has graciously volunteered to "quarterback" this event for all of us. He is planning to have a special ECC EL Camino parking area reserved for us so we can all park next to each other.
It such be a "perfect place" for us to meet.
Right after that show I will be "finally"taking my El Camino apart for some "long-tine-coming" updates.
Let's ALL try to make it to this show!!!! With Billy Jack's help all of us will be able have a great time and spend an day "EL Camino Day" with each other.
Again.... lots of cool cars, good food & drinks & oldies music blasting and a great place to spend an afternoon.

Thanks again to ECC member "Billy Jack" for all he is doing to make the arrangements for this show for us!!!! :You_Rock:

For the show, we clear the building and the parking / display areas around the building.
All the judged cars are parked inside the showroom and service department and in the service parking spaces that surround the building. In front of the showroom, parallel to the road, is our new car display area. Over the years, that area has evolved into an informal "cruise car" display, with cars that come and go through the day. If there's sufficient interest, I will ask the organizers for an area for the ECC members and their Caminos, but I would need an idea of who's attending. Keep me posted as to your intentions.

Hi Jim.... Looking forward to meeting you.... anytime of the year would be good.
As you know the good weather months are "filled" with car cruises & shows practically everyday of the week.
We live between Bridgeville & Mt. Lebanon... not far from St Clair Hospital.
We regularly attend the weekly Friday night cruises at Mineral Beach in Finelyville and also the one at Caste Village Shopping Center on Sunday evenings.
Not sure if you ever went to the BIGGEST & BEST weekly cruise in the Pittsburgh area ... The Starlight Cruise in Wexford on Friday nights.... normally they have 1500 - 2000 cars. We like to go there a few times a year.
Hope to see you someday in the future!!!!
