Hello, all! 1st post here... I have a '79 El Camino, but I replaced the dash with one from a newer Malibu. I'm not sure what year the 'bu was, as the front clip was gone, as well as the tail lights, and I didn't think to even care about the year, as all I wanted was the dash at the time. I'm looking to replace the "Malibu" nameplate with an "El Camino" or just a "Chevrolet" nameplate. Does anybody know where I can get one? What years did the El Caminos use that style of dash with that style of nameplate?

Hey, thanks for the welcome! I've checked all the catalogs and online parts stores I could find, but I'm told nobody makes a reproduction emblem for that dash yet. I'm hoping to find one in a salvage yard, but I'm not sure what years those emblems and dashboards came in, so I don't know exactly what to ask for, and we all know how the people at salvage yards react when we don't know exactly what we're looking for.
