I currently have power drum brakes and I'm strongly considering putting front discs on my '68. Can I avoid the cost of a conversion kit and maybe find some at a junk yard off something else?

What front spindels and discs will swap?

Hey Devin68, Dennis68 here. check my page it outlines the parts and shows some pics of fitting C5 corvette brakes on or you could stop before cutting off the spindle ears and use the stock Caprice calipers. Also try going to www.pro-touring.com and click on the forum tab toward the top. Then about 3/4 of the way down you will see a topic for CBB or cheap big brakes. within this bible of info you will find everything there is to know about junkyard brakes.
