does anybody ahve a diesel engine?
I believe the diesel was available one year. (85 if not mistaken)
what all would I need to do this and would the TH350 w/lockup work?
how about the 700R4?

I am tinking of converting so that I can run cooking grease.
mostly for the free grease from all the burger pits.
A guy I know has two cars set up to run cooking grease and he went from Madison to Boston and back on 4.00 worth of diesel.

Sounds like the way to go if you want to piss off the big oil companies!!! :D

The 350 diesel El Camino was available in 83 and 84. It was a big failure. Good luck in running your Elky on cooking grease.
