Hiya everyone.

I`m having trouble with my turn signal lights on my 87 El Camino.
The thing is I do not have a owners manual...which is hard to get here in Norway. So my dad and I need a wiring schematics/diagram for maybe the turn signal relay and other things that need knowing.
Could somebody please help us with that by either emailing me or faxing it to me? We would also be grateful if we could also have a copy of where and what the fuses are for.
We are kind of stuck with it. Also the hazard lights flash just barely. Anybody know the solution to that?

My email is F117@mail2airforce.com
My fax No. is +47 51 65 11 77

Thanks in advance.

Regards from Tor in Norway.

Here's two quick and easy checks that could save you alot of time. I used these on a 1978 El Camino and I'm assuming they are the same for a 1987.

1) Check the large flat connector under your steering column. You have to remove the cover(two screws). Lightly tug on each wire on both sides of the connector, I've seen the brake wire on this connector break off right at the plug. Very difficult to see without actually pulling on the wire.

2) You can also check the wiring harness connector as it plugs from the frame to rear harness for the rear lights. It's located on the driver's side behind the rear wheel and on the frame of the car.

These are just two problems I've had in the past that took weeks to find and two seconds to fix.

Thank you very much for the diagram info.
It`s kind of Greek to me, but I`ll figure it out as I go.

And thanks to you too DUGMAZE. I`ll tell my dad and see if that`s the culprit.
