i was thinking that we make a rule of how many lines a signature can be, so we don't get some huge ones that are like 7 lines. just a precautionary action.

So what is the limit? It took me about 5 trys :? to get mine down to an acceptable size, but I think it's only 2 or 3 lines long. Is it being limited by characters or lines?

We really haven't decided on a limit. The forum software has a limit of 255 characters. So far, I haven't noticed any kind of abuse. I still think we should let the members decide.
