I've got a 402 out of a 72 camaro. I really need to get the timing right on this thing. Does anybody know where to order a timing marker for this application.

~Thanx in advance.

I think I have my old marker from my 402. (I replaced the timing chain cover with a chrome one) The only thing is that my engine came out of a 70-72 c-10.

To accurately install the timing tab purchase one of the many adjustable timing tabs available. They bolt on using two of the timing cover bolts. Remove the #1 sparkplug and using a piston stopper that screws into the sparkplug hole and a timing wheel locate TDC. Then adjust the timing tab to correspond with the TDC (O degrees) mark on the balancer. Tighten everything up and you're good to go. That Rat motor will like about 35 degrees at 2600rpm.
