I am upgrading my 78 Elky from regular non-pulse type wiper motor to pulse type..I have the pulse motor installed..It has the same elect. terminals on the outside as the non-pulse type..2 plug in for washer motoer and 3 plug-in for motor.. The motor has 2 extra wires,along with a 3 terminal connection, and I cannot find where they go. The extra wires come out of the 3 terminal plug. ..I installed a delay inst. switch also and it plugged right into the existing male plugs at the dash and the other female end, 3 plugs, went into the new motor..It works now just as the old non-delay motor did..They did not have delay motors in 78 so I am wondering is the wiring harness that currently goes from the switch to the motor is correct..Any help on this will be greatly appreciated as I know of others who also are trying to solve this problem when upgrading..
