You need 3.73 rear gears; with the overdrive trans you can get off the line rear quick and still have decent highway mileage.

i need to know what size is in there now..but there is no stamp on the axle any where....can anyone help with that??????what diameter is the ring. is it a 7.75???????

It is a 7.5" 10 bolt and is most likely a 2.73.
