Howdy

Anyone in south Fla know good, reliable and somewhat inexpensive drive shaft shop the have dealt with, or work at or own one :D

Also the same question goes for good muffler shop to do custom exhaust setup from manifolds all the way back?

Preferred area is around Ft. Lauderdale ... I will have to get there on open manifolds unless I get Y pipe to put there temporarly.
Anyone got one lying around and rotting in the corner of parts pile (the Y pipe i mean)

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

This is who I get to do all the ones I have done. Tried a couple of other places around and ended up taking here to get re-done. NW corner of Lantana Rd and 441 (St Rd 7) Tell him Neil sent you. It probably won't help with the price but maybe with the service and the conversation. LOL

Drive Shaft Power Inc.
10101 Lantana Rd # K
Lake Worth, FL 33449(561) 433-1200

Not much to help you with on the exhaust.

Thank you ... that kind of recommendations make for easier opening wallet :) at least you are sure that service is just right.

it settles it ... in regards to drive shaft ... now I need to find muffler shop ... nearby one or someone with old Y pipe to lend so I can crawl to some more distant one

If you can make it to Delray Muffler Shop of NB Federal Highway about 400 block you would be satisfied. Cruiser Motorworks was using them. I had them put cat back duals on 3 trucks and was happy with work and price.

Good to know ... I like hearing recommendations for the shops that can deliver.

Now I am still loking to borrow a Y pipe if anyone got spare one. I would hate to go to Delray when I'm ready on open headers. Might draw a lil too much attention

Instead of driving with open headers on the street, you might want to look into renting a trailer or dolly from like U-HAUL or some other company like such. You would only need it one way, because you could drive it home.It might be cheaper than a ticket and possibly having your car towed by the police.Lauderdale to Delray is quite a way on open exaust. Why take a chance.Good Luck.Of course you will need a vehicle to tow the trailer.

I will figure something out ... but the dolly suggestion is good. I might have to ask friend with silverado for help bacuse my Honda Del Sol is not exactly towing deamon

Thanks for ideas fellas ...
