Hello,

So my journey begins :) , I just purchased a '64 Elky and I'm looking for a reputable shop/mechanic in the LA area (preferrably in the South Bay or OC) to do a front disc brake conversion. I have the kit in hand and just need the labor done. Can anyone help with a referral? Thanks!

There are two shops that I know of that handle the conversion but I'm not sure if they install products that were not bought through them. It's worth a try, I guess.
ABS Brakes in Orange

CPP (Classic Performance Products) in Anaheim.

I have had great success with ABS for doing front and rear conversions, but I install them myself. They back their work and their product and are very helpful on tech questions over the phone. I've not dealt directly with CPP, but Craig Chaffers is their head installation guy. You would know him as the project manager in the 'Overhaulin' series, and has been featured in several tech articles in various magazines.
