I've had several 78-87 Caminos and continue to buy and seel wrecks parts and projects. How can I tell if they are SS's, Conquistas, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I looked mine up and it was a El Camino Custom w/ 350 145hp from Leeds MO.

by the RPO codes !!

D91 = Conquista package
Z15 = SS equipment
Z16 = Black, royal knight decor package

Are they on the cowl tag or in the VIN?

Should be a label on the glove box door! Don't know about other places ?:dontknow:
There should be a build sheet somewhere !!

Some fifth gens have the Z15 on the cowl tag, some not. Nothing in the VIN. All the RPO's would be on the build sheet and some have them on the glove box sticker. If you don't see it in the other two places, you need a build sheet to tell.
