Any particular type (brand) to use and also any to stay away from? I bought new carpet and the sound pad for underneath.

I bought a spray car from my uphostry guy..it's called Performance Products Aerosol. Hi-Temp Trim Adheisive. Specially designed fro Headliners, carpets and interior parts.

I haven't used it on the carpet yet...I am waiting for tips from the guys in on my thread. But I did a test patch and wow..it really bonds!

I found this product online at yourautotrimstore.com acutally 5 buks cheaper than I got it for.

Now, If only I new where to glue the carpet..all over, on the sides, middle....Just don't want to mess it up.

I have always used the 3M spray adhesive and never been disappointed.

I do not use adhesive when I install carpet.

Thanks guys for the info. I want to use adhesive this time did not like the results last time without it.

I've always used adhesive but on a how to article the expert installer only used adhesive on the outer edges of the carpet to pull and hold the center tight; it seemed to work well.
