Just bought a mixed breed, 81,82, and 83 El Camino, all wrapped up in one titled as an 81. Very clean car. The former owner told me he was selling it because it had been broke into, had the stereo and such stole out of it, and before they got caught, had damged the steering column pretty good. It also has a 350 cu in motor, with an Edelbrock mannifold, and Holley Carburetor. Just had new 60 series tires put all around, balanced and aligned. Turbo 350 Tranny. Although every thing seems real tight, I am havin the steering column rebuilt this Friday (wipers don't work, and wanna make sure about all the other electrics). Then Saturday, installing my sound system. And next, I am attempting to put the air conditioning system back together, and that is my stumper, :dontknow: lookin for help. Lookin and askin, if anybody has a diagram of the whole system, including electrics? Or am i stuck tryin to do all my trackin with a Haynes or Chilton;s manual? Any help is appreciated. Terry

Welcome to the site. I think we need a little more info to be able to help. Do you still have all the AC components, and just need wiring help? Or was the AC system removed? A picture of your AC box under the hood would be helpful to know which year it came from- it will make a difference.

It all seems to be there, just wires cut and vacuum lines disconnected, but gonna study it some more. I will get pics and post em up. Thanks for responding. Terry
