Just wondering if these seats would work in a 1986 Caballero.

Nice looking seats (for a Ford)
You will have to find a way to adapt the seats to a set of GM seat rails, which may be a little tricky. Make sure you do it safely. With all of the G-body and F-body seats out there why settle for something out of a Probe. By the way, the F-body seats from a Camaro or Firebird will bolt right up to a set of G-body bucket seat rails.

You can make just about anything work. Gm intermediates like Grand Prixs & such work great. I used 95 Z24 seats, I like em.

Tommy, did the G-body frame rails bolt right up without having to make any modifications? There are a ton of Cavaliers in the local yards. I've wondered if the bucket seats would work in a G-body.

I used the rails that were on the Cavalier seats. The rear brackets bolted right up. The front ones were one inch off so I made 1/8 steels plates to bolt them to the stock bolts. Worked great & with the bracket covers on you can't see them. With the stock seats, I always sat "on" the Elky, now I seat "in" it. :)
