I have an 87 with a 350 in it. I was wondering if this was a decent exhaust kit from Summit. I'm sorta on a budget and need a kit. Any suggestions?

Although I don't have this system I understand from people who have that it works well. Of course you will need to modify your crossmember.

how much do you think it would run to get it modified?

call a muffler shop and ask... you could do it yourself if you can work with metal

It takes come cutting, a little metal fabrication and some welding. Probably no more than a couple of hours after the crossmember is unbolted. Maybe $100-$150. JEGS (http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=909&prmenbr=361) also has a modified crossmember. Although I would check with Jegs to see what transmission the crossmember works with as the TH350, TH200R. and TH700R would all be different.

Thanks for all your input guys. I decide on getting a Gforce crossmember. I figured I'd spend the extra 25/50 bucks on something that will go right in rather than using the extra money on aspirin for the headache i would get trying to find someone to make one.
