I just reccently bought a '72 for next to nothing. It needs considerable work, but it is the car I have always wanted and to me, the sky is the limit on making this car amazing. Im currently planning on putting a caddy 500 cu. in. engine along with a TH400 tranny, because both of these items are readily available to me. Where can I get a driveshaft for this? What concerns should I have over the rear diff? how much power and torque can the diff and the tranny handle? Will I have to move the tranny crossmember? will I have to drill new mounting holes?
