Mr. Fin
11-26-2011, 09:25 AM
Now that the turkey left overs are gone and the Black Friday frenzy has died down, it is time to celebrate Christmas. I cannot think of a better way to celebrate the season than to have a holiday dinner together as a club. A night filled with laughter, good food and spirits right here in San Jose.

Mr. Fins Fantastic Holiday Fest.

Club members, and their spouces are welcome to join Cathy and I for dinner and a traditional Wild White elephant gift exchange on December 17th. More information to come on this event, so mark the calendar and stay tuned. As soon as I get everyones email address, I will be sending out an evite with the details on how you can participate.

Sure Donny,

Are you willing to leave Texas? If so, I'll send you a personal invite with directions.

If not, perhaps the gang from Texas can throw a similar event.

Mr. Fin

Attention region 18 members. We are planning a holiday gathering, aka Party in San Jose. I am going to send out an official evite to announce the party and how to participate. Unforntunately, I do not have everyonoe's email address to post on the evite. I am searching for Chris. I need your email, and you know who you are. Any other local member that would like to participate, please respond with your email address so that we can get you on the guest list.

P.S. Don't tell Donny we are having a party. LOL

Mike and Danny,

I would never have you guys stay at a hotel, they're crowded and annoying. I will send my private jet to pick you all up and fly you directly to the house. From there, the boat will take you to the guest house. Bring a set of club or a saddle we have many out door play areas. :poke:

Thanks John,
But I never travel without my driver and valet de chambre Jeeves. We simply cannot do without him. I do assume Kim and I will have the chalet at our disposal when we arrive. My entourage requires minimum accommodations. The stables will do.
I will have Jeeves contact your head of staff accordingly.

Mr. Fin
11-27-2011, 04:23 PM
Danny,

No need. I have already had the staff prepare for your arrival. Budweiser at 35 degrees as usual.

Happy Holidays to all.

If you have been following this thread, then you know the holiday spirits are hard at work whipping up a fest for the local chapter. You know the saying, "Think globally, drink locally."

In that theme I have created an evite which those that I have email addresses should receive a link to shortly. You will need to follow the link to the evite web site and respond to the invitation. There are a few details that you will not want to over look so read carefully. Should you have any questions, please give me a call. I look forward to hosting this night of celebration and laughter and I hope that everyone can come.

If you are a member and wish to attend, Like Donny and the rest of our friends in Texas, send me your email and I will add you to the list.

If you are too far away to travel to this event, I suggest you get off the couch and throw an event in your area! The holidays only come around once a year. Right!

Ho ho ho and a messy Christmas.chimney:cali:

Got it!

I'll have one of the servants bring up a bottle from the cellar. I take it Kim is driving that night?

PS, Let me know if you don't get the notice from evite. I forget whether they send it automatically or if you have to manually go to the site to RSVP.

I got it, John. I did accept the invite. It should have RSVPed automatically. Kim will be driving. In the spirit of the holidays, I gave Jeeves the night off!

Mr. Fin
11-28-2011, 06:30 PM
Danny,

Your car may be sharp71 but, you should called Generous George. Giving one staff member the night off during the holidays. That's priceless.

Well here's the update only one day into the invitation process. Mike, Teri, and yourself have all confirmed. We need to help Gilby decide because he caught something on the fence he is sitting on. Chris and Juan have yet to respond as well but, the week is young. I also want to extend the invitation to anyone else local that did not get an official invite. I do not have everyone's email address and I don't want to exclude anyone that want's to participate.

If you are interested in getting involved, ask a question about the party on this thread or PM me with your email address.

We may even have a bus load of Texans coming at some point. Right Donny? Go Lone Star! Ho Ho Ho is not just for holding your horses anymore. It's Christmas.

Absolutely! Bring your dad. PM me your email address. That way I can send you the evite. You will need the information from it to know the address. We are also going to play a gift exchange game, so bring two wrapped gifts. Nothing more than $15.00 each and they don't need to be serious. It starts around 7pm and of course all this and more is on the evite.

Looking forward to a night of Elco-madness.

Gilby,

The Soiree in San Jose. A little peer pressure works every time. I am glad that you have made the commitment to join in on the celebration. I'll throw another log on the ole' yule fire.

That makes twelve guests. Now we need to figure out the hor d' oeuvres, desserts, and beverages. If everyone would give me an answer before Sunday, 12/11, on what they will be bringing, then I will be able to make the last of my preparations before the final week.

Thanks everyone.:nanawoot::thumbup:

Don't you have a picture of Papa Muscle? And, how does that keep you from putting one on your ride?
...I only have one (1) picture of it...and as far as the "Gost of Gilby",I'm working on it and you'll be the first to see it...:You_Rock:

Gilby,

I think you have the last photo I took of Papa Muscle. It should be the one I took by the lake. If you need more it will have to wait until I have time again.
