I have a 1986 Conquista, my issue id when I turn on the air conditioner it takes about 30-40 seconds before I get any air out of the vents. It sounds like the vacum has to build up then I hear the door pop open? Any ideas on what this is and how to fix it would be appreciated.

What type of spray lubricant would you recommend? The only one I have tried is spray silcone.
