I hate insurance companies! Some of you may remember me posting about my incident involing my camino making out with the side of a T bird on the highway but it has happened in feb and they refuse to pay what it is worth...so now I have decided that I am now financially strong enough to move out and into my own house, I am now going to lump the money I need to fix my baby in that loan.. win ( YES I WILL WIN!!!!) the court battle and have them pay me  I must have my baby back. shes been sitting tooooooo damn long she needs lovin, gear jamming and eating fords....I need a little advice Shes a 1983 SS been sitting since feb not long I know but with older car is there anything I should check on anything that may happen in that time of sitting...

Also she was in a front end collision at 45 mph (I know I looked at the dash right before impact) she still starts :) but front end is smashed is there anything I should check that could have gotten knock outta whack? any hidden part I need to make sure and check out?

One more thing if you could help me in my court battle I want to get a listing ad or anything of 1983 Elcaminos in excellent condition for sale. My lawyer wants to walk into that court room with ads and stuff showing that people care about these cars. Showing they are of value and not some POS... I've been hunting around ebay but anything that is in print will work...did I mention I will win this battle? Thanks guys!

Boy have you come to the right place.! Everyone here will help you out as much as they can. There is a link in the forums that you can get average prices from, I'll just have to find it. Don't insurance companys suck?!

Next time check with your Insurance Company about insurance for older cars. I checked with mine and I told them I wanted FULL COVERAGE my agent sent me to person that does estimates on what older cars are worth and I brought that back to them and I now have coverage for my 78 covered for $10,000 for only $289.00 year.
