Really liked the Corvair concept in the foreground of the 1st pic. Looks like a vintage Aston Martin DB. Pity the production version looked nothing like this.

That van, the 1955 GMC L'Universelle, was pretty cool.

Thanks for sharing this album, Robert. The 50's were a great styling period for US cars, even though some of the ideas were kind of ...."offbeat."

Fortunately, a lot more got saved and are still part of GM's massive collection. A small part of which is on view at the GM Heritage Center in Sterling Heights MI. (by appointment and connections though. :( )
