Lookin for some help on deciding on what color to paint my 78.
right now its faded grey and some paint is rusty.
definitely want racing stripes on hood.
thinkin about grey or silver since paints costs so much and im on a budget right now.

I'm in the same boat dude. It has driven me nuts for the last couple months. I think I'm going with red myself. My 80 was silver with the SS black stripes. Are you painting it or having someone else paint? Make sure they can give you that nice shine if you go with silver. The stripes aint nuttin to lay out. Try to get them to paint the pinstripes, instead of using pinstripes.

Either me or my uncle is gonna paint it, I want him to he is a good painter.
Yea ill probly spend a little extra to have it nice and shiney.

As for red, I live in a small town and I think the cops would target the red paint before silver.
